Earth Day: Rally Online for a Green New Deal

EarthDayNHV-rec.jpg

Although COVID-19 will prevent us from meeting in person, we know that now more than ever, we need to stick together and keep fighting for the health and well-being of all people. The health and economic impacts caused by both the COVID crisis and the climate crisis demand bold solutions that center the needs of working people and marginalized communities.

Our movement seeks those solutions using our People Power, and we’re ready to wield that power even though we can’t take to the streets...the show must go on(line)! Please join us to Rally Online for a Green New Deal on Wednesday April 22nd, from 4:00 - 5:30pm. We’ll hear from inspiring speakers about the connections between COVID-19 and climate, what a Green New Deal could look like in our community, and why we need it. We'll also hear personal stories and take crucial political actions together from our homes.

We’re asking you to bring 3 friends with you to the rally. (That means you should probably ask 6 people!) Or more! Share the RSVP link below, or invite them to our event on Facebook. Please share the attached flyer. Send it to friends, print it out and put it up in your windows, or ask your grocery store if you can post it publicly. Although we have to keep our physical distance, this moment demands social solidarity. We must stick together.
See you on Earth Day.
